Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Of Madness finally, FINALLY has a new director, and its none other than Sam Raimi, who is replacing Scott Derrickson after his departure with the franchise.
Raimi was promoting his Quibi series “50 States Of Fright” when he confirmed his role as director in reply to a reporter saying “I loved doctor Strange as a kid, he was always after Spider-Man and Batman for me. He was probably no.5 for me for for great comic book characters. He was so original”
He directed the original Spider-Man trilogy and is definitely an amazing choice and addition to the Doctor Strange Universe.

Can The Indian Government Ban TikTok?
According to India’s Press Information Bureau – the Indian government decided to ban apps which are “PREJUDICIAL TO SOVEREUGNTY AND INTEGRITY OF INDIA, DEFENCE OF INDIA, SECURITY OF STATE AND PUBLIC ORDER”. TikTok, ShareIt, UC Browser are some of the big names to be included in a list of 59 apps.
The question that comes to mind is “What legal basis do they have?”
According to Section 69A of the Information Technology Act 2000 which provides the government with power to issue directions for blocking for public access of any information through any computer resource”
The Ministry of Information Technology, invoking it’s power under section 69A of the Information Technology Act read with the relevant provisions of the Information Technology (Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking of Access of Information by Public) Rules 2009 and in view of the emergent nature of threats has decided to block 59 apps ( see Appendix) since in view of information available they are engaged in activities which is prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order.Ministry of electronics & it
So yes, the government can actually ban TikTok and other apps. This ban will be enforced via your local ISPs where the service providers will simply block these apps and the users will get a message saying access to these apps has been restricted upon the request of the government.
Users will still be able to use the apps that can function without an active internet connection provided you have those apps on your phone already, as such apps are likely to be blocked on the Play Store & the App Store.

Simpsons To Stop Using White Actors For Non White Characters
According to Variety, The Simpsons will stop casting white actors to voice non white characters. While there is no information about rewriting/recasting the roles/charecters; the producers said
Moving forward, The Simpsons will no longer have white actors voice non-white characters
The Simpsons is the longest running sitcoms in the history of American sitcoms, with more that 31 seasons. The Simpsons have been growing and changing with time and have successfully done their part in talking about certain social aspects of the society such as race, gender, etc. This recent decision to alter the casting choices is yet another welcoming change to avoid favoritism.
The Simpsons isnt the only one to make such changes as other actors/franchises have made similar amendments. Mike Henry announced that he wont portray the role of Cleveland Brown on Family Guy stating that it is better for a person of color to portray the role, even though he loves the character.
It’s been an honor to play Cleveland on Family Guy for 20 years. I love this character, but persons of color should play characters of color. Therefore, I will be stepping down from the role.
The Simpsons have seen heavy criticism over the issue of Azaria playing the beloved Indian character Apu. This change become necessary as the issue grew bigger after the documentary “The Problem With Apu” – Azaria announced his step down from the role in January.
